PULAU SERI BUAT SOUTH

19 miles from Tioman Marina

PULAU SERI BUAT SOUTH. 2°40.785N, 103°53.962E

These twin islands of Sembilang and Seri Buat, connected by drying reef, are stunning and provide good shelter in both seasons. The entire archipelago, including Pulau Tioman, are named after this island. Anchor in 5-10 metres on the shallow sandy bank in between, favouring the Seri Buat island. Take your dinghy around the south headland to the east and up the mile long mangrove creek for an ‘African Queen-esque’ adventure.
