At 31nm northwest of Cairns Harbour and 62nm south of Cooktown, this facility is Queensland’s northernmost marina. The relevant charts for this region are AUS 270 and AUS 830.
The marina sits within a sheltered position on the well-marked Dickson Inlet, and is protected from waves, swell and prevailing southeast winds. The inlet channel was dredged in June 2014 to a depth of 2.3 metres (LAT) and the marina to 2.5 metres (LAT).
It is only a short walk from the Cairns signature Lagoon, an exquisite public water recreation facility. Cairns boasts five star hotels, shopping, dining, a casino and a vibrant nightlife. The marina is ten minutes from the Cairns International Airport and five minutes from the Cairns marine and super yacht refit precinct.
135 berths are available for permanent and visiting vessels up to 50 metres. Comprehensive services are available for boats and crew. Tel +61(0)7 40995775 www.crystalbookmarina.com
