This soon-to-be-opened yacht club, located 150km away from Beijing, has been hailed as the “Capital’s gateway to the ocean”.Phase 1 of the development will provide 80 berths, gradually ramping up to 500 berths. This section covers Liaoning, China’s north-eastern province on the Yellow Sea, bordering North Korea.
Dalian is a modern port city on the Liaodong Peninsula, at the southern tip of Liaoning Province. It was founded by the Russians in 1898.
Founded in 2008, this was the first sailing club in northeast China. The club has a small fleet of 10 dinghies, a 36ft catamaran and a 33ft keel boat. The sailing club provides a range of certifications.
