Port Takola Marina

8 miles from Ton Sai Bay, Phi Phi Island

PORT TAKOLA MARINA. 8° 02.532N, 98° 53.844E

At the T-junction of Krabi River, directly opposite the Krabi Administration Klong Ji Lard Pier, is the entrance channel to Port Takola Marina . As we went to print, work was progressing and the marina’s phase one was scheduled to open around September 2016.

The channel will reportedly be dredged to 2.5 metres LAT, which will make this marina accessible at all tides. In the first phase the basin will provide berths for 50 yachts of 10-30 metres; this will later extend to 260 berths (10-40 metres) in the second phase.

The boatyard will have 50 dry berths with a 38-ton hydraulic boat lift system. Repair and maintenance service will be available.
